Download an Analysis

Export an analysis to share or edit outside of the solution.

Who can use this feature?

Users with this permission capability:

  • Export to Excel

  • Export to PDF

  • Export to PowerPoint

Not sure if you have this feature or capability? Reach out to your administrator.

  1. On the navigation bar, click Analyses .

  2. In the Analyses list, select the analysis you want to export.
  3.  In the upper-right corner, click the Download button .
    1. To download the entire analysis as a PDF file, click Download analysis as PDF.
      The download is a copy of what your analysis looks like when presenting in full screen and includes all headers, text, visuals, and links. The default orientation of the PDF is landscape.
    2. To download the entire analysis as a PPTX file, click Download analysis as PowerPoint.
      The download is a copy of what your analysis looks like when presenting in full screen and includes all headers, text, visuals, and links. Text included in the visual title, analysis context, and Info panel can be edited in the file.
    3. To download the visuals in an analysis as a PPTX file, click Download visuals as PowerPoint.
      The visuals will look as they appear when viewed in full screen, for example, when you select a chart card in an analysis. Text included in the visual title, analysis context, and Info panel can be edited in the file. For examples and instructions on how to download an individual visual, see Download a Visual.

Result: The export may take a few minutes to process. The file will download automatically. We recommend that you remain in this tab to ensure the file finishes downloading.

Note:  

  • To customize the template that is used for PPTX exports, contact Visier Technical Support.
  • Only the first visual in a carousel will be included in analysis emails, visual downloads, and analysis downloads.

  • Limitations of PowerPoint downloads:
    • For visualizations that display a large amount of data and require scrolling (for example, Table visual), only the current visible area will appear in the download.
