Allow Visier Connections
Domains, ports, IP addresses, and email addresses to add to your allowlist to ensure your connection is uninterrupted.
If your organization uses a protective firewall to control connections, you may have to add the following configurations to your organization's allowlist so end users can access the solution, upload data, and receive emails from Visier. An allowlist is a cybersecurity strategy which provides access to selected domains, IP addresses, email addresses, and applications that your network server policy typically blocks.
Visier solutions and applications
Add the following information to your allowlist so users can access Visier solutions and applications:
Note: Instead of adding static IP Addresses to allowlists, we recommend that you use next generation firewalls with deep packet inspection and URL filtering as Visier uses IP addresses that change over time.
Domains
- *.visier.com
- *.app.visier.com
- *.app.visier.io
- *.api.visier.io
Ports
- 80
- 443
Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP)
Add the following information to your allowlist so users can upload data to Visier using Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP).
Note: We recommend that your firewall supports allowlisting by Fully Qualified Domain Name (FQDN) dynamic name resolutions because when IP addresses change in the future, it could cause communication issues if you're using static IP address entries. Customers who use FQDN dynamic name resolution do not have to do anything when Visier changes IP addresses—your data uploads continue to work as expected.
FQDN dynamic address

Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP)
Add the following information to your allowlist so users can receive emails from the platform such as notifications, welcome emails, and analysis emails. Visier relies on email notifications, especially during onboarding and user rollouts, where each user is sent a welcome email. Scheduled reports may also generate a large number of emails to your users. It's important that you prevent our domains from being blocked or rate limited as it may impact our ability to deliver emails to your end users.

Note: Transport Layer Security (TLS) is supported through port 465. If our servers cannot connect to the correct ports, they default to port 25.
Data connectors
Add the following information to your allowlist so users can get data into Visier using data connectors. Outbound requests for Application Programming Interface (API) and Java Database Connectivity (JDBC) data connectors come from different IP addresses.
API data connectors (HTTPS)
Add the following outbound IP addresses to an allowlist according to your jurisdiction.

Disable caching for all traffic going to *.app.visier.com.
Marketing communications
Visier deploys regular customer communications through Marketo, our marketing automation system. To ensure that these emails reach your inbox, add the Marketo IP address to your allowlist.
- 192.28.149.231
Some anti-spam systems use the email Return-Path field instead of the IP address for enabling communication. In this situation ,we recommend that you add the Marketo domain to an allowlist.
- *.mktomail.com
Other anti-spam systems use the From address field. In this situation, we recommend that you add the following domains to an allowlist.
- *.visier.com
- *.visiercorp.com.
