Multi-Factor Authentication

Finish your sign in by entering an authenticator code.

Note: This feature will be released in an upcoming patch and will replace the sign in verification code.

When you sign in to your Visier account, you will be prompted to provide an authenticator code to verify your identity. This measure is an extra level of protection for organizations that don't have single sign-on (SSO) enabled. Multi-factor authentication (MFA) is required for every sign-in attempt to ensure your account remains protected.

Enroll in multi-factor authentication

Before you can use multi-factor authentication (MFA), you must complete a one-time enrollment process:

  1. On the Sign In page, enter your username and password.
  2. Scan the QR code or type the secret key into your preferred authenticator application, such as Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator.
  3. Enter the 6-digit code generated by your application and click Done.

Once enrollment is complete, you will use this application to generate codes for all future sign-in attempts.

Enter the authenticator code

  1. On the Sign In page, enter your username and password.
  2. Click Sign in.

Result: If the credentials are correct and you've enrolled in multi-factor authentication, you will be asked to enter a authenticator code. The code will appear in your authenticator application.

  3. Enter the authenticator code and click Done.

Note: Authenticator codes are time-sensitive and typically refresh every 30 seconds. Ensure you enter the code before it expires in your application.
