What's new
Organize Analyses
Find your analyses faster with labels. Create and assign labels to organize your analyses into personal categories. For more information, see Label an Analysis.
Bulk Delete Analyses
Cleaning up your list of analyses just got easier. You can now delete multiple analyses at the same time. For more information, see Delete an Analysis.
Reshare Analyses
Analysis owners can now allow users to reshare an analysis. When enabled, users with Editor access can distribute it directly to others, reducing the administrative burden on owners. For more information, see "Allow editors to reshare an analysis" in Share an Analysis.
Custom Display Names for Metric Comparators in Quadrant and Relationship Visuals
Give metric comparators meaningful display names that make data easier to interpret. Custom names replace default metric names across the visual title, captures, and chart cards in an analysis. For more information, see Create a Metric Comparison.
Evolving Vee
The evolution of Vee continues with Vee now transforming ambiguous business questions into actionable insights and guidance. It seeks clarification when needed, provides context beyond raw numbers, explains the "so what" behind data patterns, and suggests logical next steps for analysis or action. For more information, see "Determine your Vee experience" in Meet Vee.

Improvements include:
- Multi-Query Questions: Vee can answer multi-query questions that require answers spanning multiple visualizations.
- Contextual Awareness: Vee now reads the entire analysis page. It uses all visible text and visuals on your screen as context to answer your questions.
- AI Explanations & Follow-ups: Vee can provide AI explanations on analyses and visuals. Ask follow-up questions directly in the chat to dive deeper into your data.
- Instructions and Role Personalization: Administrators can set instructions for Vee to define how Vee gathers data or how it styles responses. Through instructions, Vee’s responses can be personalized to different user groups.
- Safeguards: Administrators can add safeguards to block content in Vee and prevent answers to specific types of questions or topics.
- Citations: Responses now include citations that link directly to the underlying data.
- Definitions: You can ask Vee to define specific metrics, dimensions, or organizational concepts.
- Workforce Plans: Vee connects directly to your workforce plans, allowing you to ask questions about plan metrics and see how plan values compare to actuals to easily monitor progress against plans.
Direct Span of Control Benchmarks
We’ve added the following Direct Span of Control trend benchmarks so you can see how different industries are trending upwards or downwards in their span of control over the quarters.
- Direct Span of Control - Overall Visier Benchmark™ - Trend
- Direct Span of Control - My Visier Benchmark™ - Trend
90 Day and 1 Year Resignation Rate of New Starts Benchmarks
We are replacing the existing New Hire 90 Day Resignation Rate and New Hire Resignation Rate benchmarks to better align with how you measure the success of your onboarding and talent acquisition strategies.
The following new benchmark metrics measure the percentage of starts that end in a resignation within a 90 day or 1 year time period. To measure this we track groups of new hires based on their start date to see how many stay with their organization for 90 days or 1 year.
- 90 Day Resignation Rate of New Starts - Overall Visier Benchmark™ - Trend
- 90 Day Resignation Rate of New Starts - My Visier Benchmark™ - Trend
- 1 Year Resignation Rate of New Starts - Overall Visier Benchmark™ - Trend
- 1 Year Resignation Rate of New Starts - My Visier Benchmark™ - Trend
We’ve also added the following new comparison metrics to allow you to compare your organization metric value against benchmarks.
- 90 Day Resignation Rate of New Starts
- 1 Year Resignation Rate of New Starts
We’ve deprecated the previous New Hire 90 Day Resignation Rate and New Hire Resignation Rate benchmarks. For a full list of deprecated objects, see Deprecation notice: Blueprint Design Objects. The asterisk (*) in the metric display name indicates that there is a newer version of this metric available. Please use the new version as this metric will be deprecated in the future.

What's new
Source Security Improvement
When setting a user’s access to sources, you can now enable full access to all sources. When enabled, the user can create, read, edit, and delete all sources. For more information, see "Setting access with target security enabled" in Add Access to Items.
Improved System Performance for Non-Versioned User Group Security Updates
Before, any non-versioned user group security updates caused Visier's system to refresh all users in your tenant. Now, the system only refreshes users in the changed non-versioned user group. This is only applicable to non-versioned user groups with manual user assignment. By only refreshing security for the specific users involved, Visier runs more efficiently. For more information, see Non-Versioned Security.
Simplified Tenant Management UI
Administrating tenants can now set the NACE or NAICS industry code of their analytic tenants in Studio. For more information, see "Set an analytic tenant’s industry code" in Manage an Analytic Tenant.
Visier MCP General Availability
We promoted the Visier MCP server to general availability. Use Visier MCP to connect MCP-compatible client applications (for example, Claude Desktop and Cursor) to Visier to retrieve data for use in external systems. For more information, see Connect to Visier MCP.
Visier MCP Improvements
We made the following enhancement to our MCP server:
- Prompts are now available. Prompts are pre-built templates that guide the AI agent through structured analytic workflows and provide step-by-step instructions on how and which tools to use to complete a complicated task. We added prompts for employee analysis, candidate analysis, and requisition analysis. For more information, see "About prompts" in Connect to Visier MCP.
- You can now use Visier MCP with Copilot Studio, Claude Code CLI, and Amazon Quick. For more information, see Set Up Visier MCP.
Multi-Factor Authentication for Visier People
We are introducing multi-factor authentication (MFA) to provide an extra layer of security for organizations that do not have single sign-on (SSO) enabled. Users will be prompted to enter an authenticator code at every sign-in attempt to ensure accounts remain protected. For more information, see Multi-Factor Authentication.
Note: This feature will be released in an upcoming patch and will replace the sign in verification code.
Dynamic Pivoting in Reports
You can now build pivot tables directly within the Report Editor. Easily cross-tabulate data by combining flat rows, expandable group-bys, and pivot columns to automatically calculate aggregations, like sums or averages. For more information, see Create a Report.
Note: Available to Embedded Partners
Power BI Connector
We’ve updated the connector to version 1.7.6 to fix an issue with SQL-like queries. For more information, see Use Visier Data in Power BI.
More Table Source Support
Note: Limited Availability This feature is in limited availability. If you're interested, contact your Customer/Partner Success Manager. Visier Case Managers can request access by submitting an Enable a Feature case.
We added the following table source features.
- New connectors: Table sources are now available in the SAP SuccessFactors and Workday RaaS data in connectors. For more information, see SAP SuccessFactors and Workday Reports-as-a-Service.
- Near real-time data: Partners can opt in to near real-time data freshness. If enabled, Visier monitors the source system to retrieve the latest changes instead of waiting for the next scheduled data load. Near real-time data is available with Visier’s Databricks and Snowflake data connectors and requires table sources. For more information, see Databricks and Snowflake.
- Materialized views: We added materialized views, which allow combining data from multiple table sources into a single view that is created and maintained as a separate source, linked to the upstream sources.
- Table Properties tab: Table sources now have a Table Properties tab where you can set key/value metadata for the table. For more information, see "Edit key/value pairs" in Use SQL with Table Sources.
- Static mapping lookups: Table sources now support lookup functions for static mappings. For more information about static maps, see Mapping Settings.
Data Export Connectors
Super Admins can now create data export connectors, which push aggregated or detailed data exports directly from Visier to an external system. Data export connectors can push to Databricks and Snowflake.
Note: Limited Availability This feature is in limited availability. If you're interested, contact your Customer/Partner Success Manager. Visier Case Managers can request access by submitting an Enable a Feature case.
