Reset a User's Password

Send user's a password reset link.

If a user forgets the password to their account or you think their account has been compromised, you can reset their password.

Note: If your organization has enabled single sign-on (SSO), users will have to reset their password through your third-party identity provider, except any users on the Bypass Users list. To add users to the Bypass Users list, see Set Up Single Sign-On.

  1. On the global navigation bar, click Tenant, and then click the Users tab.

  2. Select a user in the Users list.

  3. Click Reset User Password in the User Details area.
  4. In the Reset User Password dialog do one of the following:

    • To get the password reset link, click Copy Link.
    • To send the password reset link via email, click Send email.

      Result: Your default email application opens a new email that contains a password reset link.

Note: The password reset link is valid for 24 hours.
