Correct File Errors With Restatement
If you receive the wrong data, fix the error with restatement files.
Overview
Restatement is a full replacement of a previous file. The new file includes previously correct records and newly corrected records. In most cases, the records from this new file are used to overwrite the records from the previous file.
Restatement is required when you have a data version based on a file including errors. The file with errors must be excluded and a second restatement file uploaded to correct the errors.
