Create an Analytic Tenant

As an administrating tenant, learn how to create new analytic tenants.

Note:  

  • This feature is also available through Visier's public APIs. For more information, see Tenants API.
  • Administrating tenants can have a maximum of 50,000 analytic tenants. These maximums are the default, however, contact Visier Technical Support to request limit adjustments.

Analytic tenants are created by an administrating tenant. The administrating tenant can maintain all aspects of the analytic tenant in Studio, including data, sources, users, and profiles.

Create a tenant

  1. On the global navigation bar, click Tenants > Create New Tenant.
  2. Enter a unique tenant code for the new analytic tenant.
    Recommended: Use a specific naming pattern for each tenant code.
  3. Enter a user-friendly display name.
  4. Enter a short name for the tenant. This is the vanity name for the tenant.
  5. To assign modules to the tenant, click the Add button .
  6. Click Create.

Tip: In the Tenants room, click the name of the analytic tenant to edit its display name, tenant access, and module access.
