Organization Design Data Requirements

Overview

The following table outlines the metrics, concepts, dimensions, properties, and references required to populate Organization Design with data. The requirement categories are defined as follows:

Required: These are mandatory to populate the org structure.
Recommended: Not mandatory, but strongly recommended for meaningful analysis.
Optional: Additional data that provides extra context but does not affect the core functionality.

Data customizations

The default objects below drive the core functionality of Organization Design. If your organization requires customizations, contact Visier Technical Support.

Customizing this list expands how you interact with Organization Design. For example, adding custom dimensions such as Career Level allows you to view and edit those fields in the employee side panel, track modifications in the Changes view, group your metric breakdowns by those attributes, and display them directly as a node in your org structure.

Note: Some data requirements listed below are marked as Future Enhancement in the Status column. While providing this data does not currently affect the behavior of Organization Design, loading this data ensures the application is seamlessly prepared for future enhancements.
