Added support for visual downloads: All visual types are now supported for visual downloads. You can now export the Career Journey, Comparison grid (Compare room), History, Movement Summary, and View Details visualizations as a PNG or PPTX file.

Enhanced export experience: We’ve improved the performance of exports to provide you with a consistent and reliable experience when downloading large analyses to PowerPoint. You’ll also find that most of the text and images in the export can now be edited. Change objects such as the chart, visual title, analysis context, and the Info panel to meet your needs.

  • This capability is not generally available to all customers until a future release. If you are interested in this capability, please contact your Client Success Manager (CSM). Hide sparkline for Trend visual: When displaying a metric summary for your Trend visual in an analysis, you can now turn off the sparkline that appears by default.

Improved readability of PowerPoint (PPTX) exports: We’ve made some of our visual types responsive. Font size, contrast, and data label placement will automatically be adjusted as you change the size of your visual, browser window, or screen. Readability will be optimized for every visual size making visuals in PPTX exports much easier to read.

Opt out of analysis emails: If you no longer want to receive analysis content in your inbox, you can remove yourself from the mailing list by managing your subscription through user preferences.

Daily time granularity: All visual types now support daily granularity.

Internal comparison: You can now create a comparison against internal groups such as your peers, manager's team, or entire organization to understand how your team is performing. Internal comparisons show you an aggregate view of larger populations that you normally don't have data access to so your organization can share information to help make the right decisions.

  • This feature is not available in Preview.

Auto hide Guidebook topics: Guidebook topics will automatically be hidden when there is no data loaded for the content in the topic.

Sourcing Paths visual: The Sourcing Paths visual shows how different jobs inside your organization flow into a specific job. Select a target job to see a list of potential jobs that can be sourced for internal candidates. The visual highlights the number of employees who have moved to the target job and the average time it takes for them to make the move. The visual can also be used to answer questions about succession planning, internal development, business transformation, and more.

Support for employee photos in Relationship and Quadrant visuals: Employee photos will appear in the Relationship and Quadrant visuals when the following criteria are met:

  • Your organization has uploaded employee photos
  • The visual contains two metrics and a group by

  • The employee photos take up less than 20% of the total visual area

Undo & redo: Quickly undo and redo actions that you make when building visuals in the Explore room and full screen.

Bug fixes

53752 - Analysis Editor: Changing the zoom level of your browser from 100% will no longer prevent you from adding content to your analysis.

57910 - Overlay metrics: When viewing overlay metrics, you may have noticed the Overall value would change when you switched from the Trend visual to the Breakdown visual. We’ve fixed this.

73194 - Metric comparisons: When creating a metric comparison, data labels will no longer disappear when you add a custom display name for a metric. In addition, turning data labels back on will no longer cause metric display names to revert to their default.

73228 - User list upload: A better error message will appear when you try to upload a user list that contains existing users.

73285 - Others data item and stacked bar: When using stacked bars, the Others data item will no longer appear in the legend if the category is not included in the visual.

75092 - Attribute values in the Compare room: We fixed an issue in the Compare room where the Direct Manager > Full Name attribute was showing the employee’s name instead of the name of their manager.

75842 - View Details for Employee Starts and Exits: You may have noticed that some employee attributes were no longer listed in View Details for Employee Starts and Employee Exit metrics. We’ve fixed the link between the metrics and the Employee subject so the attributes should appear as expected.

Organization

What's new

Standardized occupations: An automated service that allows you to match job names within your organization to standardized names and hierarchies such as SOC-O*NET. This data enrichment saves you the time and effort of having to standardize the various job names across your organization on your own. You can add or edit the matches between your organization's job names and the standardized job names, as desired, in the solution experience.

Emsi top 5 skills: If your organization is participating in the Emsi standardized occupations service, we will add a list of the top 5 expected skills for employees and requisitions based on their standardized job names. Analyze the skills of your employees to identify training opportunities and to help you hire new employees to fill skill gaps in your organization.

  • This capability is not generally available to all customers until a future release. If you are interested in this capability, please contact your Client Success Manager (CSM). If you are unsure who your CSM is, please create a technical support case through the Visier Customer Portal. This will allow you to compare your employees to the norms in the labor markets in which you operate and see how your HR department is performing against other organizations that are competing for the same talent.

  • Labor market data requires a paid subscription from Emsi and additional onboarding services from Visier.
  • This capability is not generally available to all customers until a future release. If you are interested in this capability, please contact your Client Success Manager (CSM). If you are unsure who your CSM is, please create a technical support case through the Visier Customer Portal. Visier reserves the right to limit the number of customers participating in the limited availability period.

Find out what metrics and dimensions are most often used by a specific user type, how much time users spend looking at visualizations, the percentage of visualizations that are rendered successfully, and more.

Headcount Ratio metric: This parameterized metric shows you the percentage of employees with a particular employee attribute at the end of the period. Simply filter the numerator to select the employee attributes you want to analyze.

Bug fixes

54593 - Assignments Ended metric: We've updated the formula to include assignments that ended within the selected period for terminated employees.

70139 - Enable Underrepresented Group concept: Use the Underrepresented Group concept to filter your analysis population to employees that belong to an underrepresented group. To avoid confusion, we've changed the display name of the Underrepresented Group dimension to Underrepresented Group Status.

71938 - Attribute value display name change for the Standard Ethnicity dimension: We've renamed the attribute value Brazil > Mixed to Brazil > Brown.

73067 - Retirement Zone concepts display name change: Cutoff ages have been added to the Retirement Zone concepts. We've renamed:

  • Retirement Zone to Retirement Zone - 50 Years or Older
  • Retirement Zone 60 to Retirement Zone - 60 Years or Older

75753 - Headcount by Job Function - Overall Visier Benchmark - Report: You may have noticed some inconsistent values when looking at the Headcount by Job Function - Overall Visier Benchmark - Report metric. • Tenure Range
  • Tenure with Current Manager
  • Time as Ready Successor
  • Time Since Promotion

  • This capability is not generally available to all customers until a future release. If you are interested in this capability, please contact your Client Success Manager (CSM). Visier reserves the right to limit the number of customers participating in the limited availability period.

Currency conversion for plan metrics: You can now load and use a different set of exchange rates to convert plan currencies.

Talent Acquisition

What's new

Last Active Applicant Stage dimension: When counting Rejected or Abandoned applicants use the Last Active Applicant attribute to show what stage applicants were in prior to moving to a rejected or abandoned status.

Assessment event: You can now use the Assessment event to connect the assessments that you have of an applicant to their applicant profile and link it back to the corresponding requisition.

73145 - Display name change for Candidate Relationship Management concepts: We've renamed the following concepts for clarity:

  • Sourcer to Added by Sourcer
  • Organic to Added Organically

Talent Essentials

77357 - Total Rewards What-if model: We updated the formula of the Per FTE metrics in the Spring 2021 release. To ensure the projections for the Total Rewards model align with behavior prior to the formula update, we've changed the model to use the Per FTE with Value metrics instead of the Per FTE metrics. The Per FTE with Value metrics only include employees with budgeted data in the average calculation.

Talent Expert

Bug fixes

73966 - Succession metrics documentation: We've added calculation details to the explanations of the Succession metrics.
