Employee Journey Visualization Improvements
- We’ve added filter support to the Career Paths and Sourcing Paths visuals so you can view data for a specific group of employees. For more information, see Career Paths Visual and Sourcing Paths Visual.
- In the studio experience, administrators can configure the attributes that are available in the Career Paths and Sourcing Paths visuals for all users. For more information, see Configure Visuals.
Focal Period Selection
Authors can now choose the data point that is highlighted in a Trend, Trend Breakdown, or Table card by setting the selected time period. Options include the start of the time window, end of the time window, and the latest period. The metric summary on the card will reflect the value of the selected time period. For more information, see "Specify selected period" in Create an Analysis.
Show/Hide "Unknown & Uncategorized" Data
Declutter your visuals and avoid confusing viewers by hiding unknown and uncategorized data items. For more information, see Show or Hide Data Items.
View Summary Details in Movement Breakdown Visual
We've added the ability for users to access View Details on the summary values in the Movement Breakdown visualization. Users can now select the Starting or Ending values in a Movement Breakdown visual and View Details for those populations.
Overflow Menu in Data Exports
When editing your Data Export, you can quickly share, duplicate, and copy the export link by clicking the More Actions button.
Add Formula to Calculated Properties in Bulk Creation
Data Version Validation
Administrators can now define alerts on incoming data versions to validate if new data is good. Critical alerts will fail data versions to prevent publishing bad data to your users.
-
Configuration is required for this feature.
Power BI Plugin Enhancements
We made our Power BI plugin easier to use by simplifying the required credentials for access, streamlining prerequisite setup, and making more fields optional in Power BI. For more information, see Use Visier Data in Power BI.

Deprecation notices
In the Winter 2023 release, we added an asterisk (*) in the display name of certain Visier Benchmark metrics to indicate those metrics were marked for deprecation. As of the Fall 2023 release, those deprecated metrics are no longer visible. New Visier Benchmark metrics with parameterized percentile measures have replaced the deprecated metrics. Percentiles are useful for analyzing the distribution of a dataset and help demonstrate how your organization performs compared to the market at large. Use the metric picker to select the type of measure you want to view. The default is set to Average. Available percentile measures for Visier Benchmarks include:
- 10th Percentile
- 25th Percentile
- Median
- 75th Percentile
- 90th Percentile
Note: It’s necessary to take the following actions regarding your Visier Benchmark metrics: To view the new metrics, you may need to add them to your content packages. Any analyses that were created with the deprecated metrics will need to be updated to use the new Visier Benchmark metrics.
