Patch updates
August 27 - Automated Concept Configuration General Availability
You can now use automap to configure concepts based on AI recommendations. With automap, Visier can detect unconfigured values and intelligently suggest configurations. For more information, see "Automated concept configuration" in Create a Calculation Concept, Create a Process Concept, and Create a Selection Concept.

August 27 - SCIM API Token
You can now configure SCIM using a long-lived API token. For more information, see Set Up SCIM.
What's new
Personalized Alerts
Use personalized alerts to define a metric threshold that, if exceeded, notifies you of the metric value. For example, if you want to be notified any time your Resignation Rate exceeds 5%, set up a personalized alert. For more information, see Personalized Alerts.
Vee Boards Improvements
The following improvements were made to Vee Boards:
- Share AI-generated insights faster with stakeholders. We've added a copy button so you can easily capture, refine, and distribute the AI Explanations from your Vee Boards. For more information, see Vee Boards.
- Unlock deeper insights from your data. We've expanded the range of visualizations that are analyzed to generate AI explanations. For a list of supported visualizations, see Create a Vee Board.
Traffic Lighting Color Palettes
Make insights really pop with customizable traffic lighting color palettes to highlight metric values that are neutral, bad, concerning, or good. Administrators can create custom color palettes in Studio to reflect the color meanings used within your organization. For more information, see in "Create a custom palette for traffic lighting" in Create a Custom Color Palette.
Traffic Lighting on Calculated Difference
You can now apply traffic lighting on the calculated difference, helping you compare values where here the context between two metric values matters more than a single absolute value. This option is available for comparison visuals that explicitly display a difference between two metrics, groups, scenarios, time periods or legend items. For more information, see "Add difference traffic lighting" in Add Traffic Lighting Rules.
Long Text Display
Efficiently load, share, and display text from employee surveys such as engagement, onboarding, or exits using the new Text visualization. By aligning survey scores, written feedback, and key events like resignations or pay changes, managers gain a more complete and unified view of the employee experience. Admins can configure required and optional filters to minimize the risk of identification and tailor filtering experiences by user group. Calendar Extension
The Calendar Extension allows you to integrate data from your organization’s calendar software. Tracking time usage and productivity across multiple calendars is difficult, and the Calendar Extension includes prebuilt core content that gives you actionable insights into the frequency, duration, and attendance of calendar items. With the Calendar Extension, you can gain a clear understanding of time usage, collaboration, and workload distribution within your organization. For more information, see Visier Extensions.

Customer Satisfaction Extension
The Customer Satisfaction Extension allows you to proactively identify the relationship between your workforce and your customer satisfaction scores. This extension includes prebuilt core content related to customer satisfaction surveys. Explore how training opportunities, employee turnover, and staffing mix impact customer satisfaction scores, and use the insights to optimize your team’s performance. Profit & Loss Extension
The Profit & Loss Extension offers valuable insights into revenue and cost. By connecting your people data with your finance data, you can access valuable insights into your organization’s profitability and answer important business questions. The extension includes prebuilt core content that summarizes common finance items, which can be analyzed per employee in order to gain a deeper understanding of how people costs impact overall profitability. Set Release Behavior of Multiple Data Categories
Data category management has been updated to allow distinct release behaviors for supplementary data categories. Supplementary categories now function like primary categories, resolving inconsistencies in how data versions were applied in the project lifecycle for different data category types. Studio Assistant
Get answers to general questions, best practices, and how-to information in Studio using the Studio Assistant. The Studio Assistant is available when working in a project and provides clear and actionable step-by-step guidance for your workflows. The Studio Assistant is equipped to provide immediate answers and insightful tips, providing the information you need precisely when you need it. User Group Visibility
Manage whether your users can see and select certain user groups. Some of your user groups might have specific purposes, such as only managing security. In this case, it doesn't make sense for your security user group to be available to select in features that don't relate to their work in Visier. In a project, you can modify a user group's visibility to be available in all features, hidden in all features, visible in Solution features only, or visible in Studio features only. What's new
Plan Administration API
You can use this API to manage your plans, including actions such as consolidating and reopening subplans. Consolidating a subplan combines the submitted subplan values into the main plan, while reopening consolidated subplans allows subplanners to change the values. Vee
What's new
LLM-Generated Responses
Vee now has the optional ability to generate responses for your charts using its large language model (LLM) GPT 4.1. This approach eliminates common issues such as confusing explanations when there is missing data, misinterpreting questions, or displaying irrelevant information. By directly interpreting your chart data and questions, the LLM provides more accurate and context-aware explanations.
Note: Configuration is required for this feature.
Enhanced Clarification Support for Vee
In the event of an ambiguous question, or a question that can have multiple answers, Vee will now show all relevant alternatives in addition to the object selected. These alternatives can be viewed by hovering over the highlighted object. Users will be presented with a list of alternatives they can choose from if the correct object was not initially chosen. For more information, see Step 2 under "Ask Vee" in Get Started with Vee.
Category Customization for Vee Sample Questions
Administrators can now customize the categories assigned to Vee sample questions, including both name and icon. For more information, see "Customize categories" in Customize Vee Sample Questions.

138487 - Updated Placement Metrics Display Names
We’ve updated the display names of the following metrics to reflect their function as a ratio, rather than a rate. Ratios compare the same units, while rates compare different units. Previously, the metrics were named:
- Employees with Demotions Rate
- Employees with Internal Placements Rate
- Employees with Lateral Moves Rate
The renamed metrics are listed below, respectively:
- Employees with Demotion Ratio
- Employees with Internal Placement Ratio
- Employees with Lateral Move Ratio

What's new
Renamed Business Results Overlay Metrics
As part of the Profit & Loss Extension, we’ve created improved versions of seven existing metrics that were built on the Business Results overlay. The upgraded metrics are optimized to offer more flexibility in usage and filtering. To differentiate the new metrics, we have appended (Legacy) to the following existing metric display names:
- Revenue (Legacy)
- Revenue YTD (Legacy)
- Revenue per Employee (Legacy)
- Revenue per FTE (Legacy)

What's new
Open Plan Modeling General Availability
Users with the Planning: Write, Detailed profile capability can now access the Plan Models room in Studio to create and modify plan models. The Plan Models room provides you with direct control over plan models, giving you the flexibility to create new plan models or customize existing ones to meet specific organizational needs. For more information, see "The plan models room" in Plan Models.
Plan Co-Owner Access
When sharing your plan, you can now grant other users Co-Owner access. A co-owner can do everything a plan owner can, except delete the plan or change ownership. Co-Owners will also automatically have co-owner access to any subplans. For more information, see "Co-Owner access" in How to Share Your Plan.
