Change Display Currency

Change your display currency as a user.

Note:  

  • Changing the display currency will not affect any currency range bands that have been created. These bands, which are used for grouping and filtering, will be displayed using the default currency set by your administrator.
  • All currency-based metrics are calculated using the default currency set by your administrator. It will then be converted to your chosen display currency.

Change your user settings to set your preferred display currency. This allows users in organizations with several locations to view financial information in their local currency to better understand and interpret currency visualizations. For more information about how currency is converted in the solution, see Currency Conversion.

  1. On the navigation bar, click the User button  > Preferences.

  2. On the Preferences page, click the General tab.
  3. In the Currency section, select your display currency.

    Result: Monetary values that are in a different currency than your display currency will be converted using the exchange rate tables your organization provided. For example, if an employee is paid in USD and your display currency is set to EUR, the solution will convert $50,000 USD to €45.000 EUR at the rate of 1 USD = 0.90 EUR.

Tip: After changing your display currency, this will be your default currency every time you sign in to the solution.
