Edit Visier Content
Make changes to the curated content provided by Visier.
Overview
The curated content provided by Visier is fully customizable. You can:
- Edit a Visier analysis.
- Make a copy of a Visier analysis and use it as a starting point for your own content.
- Replace a Visier analysis in a Guidebook.
Edit a Visier analysis
Note: Any changes you make to a Visier analysis will override any future updates provided by Visier experts. To continue receiving updates, we recommend that you make a copy of the Visier analysis, make changes to the copy, and then replace the Visier analysis.

In a project, on the navigation bar, click Model > Analyses.
- In the Analyses room, select the Visier analysis you want to edit.

Click Edit Analysis in the upper-right corner of the Analyses room.

Make your changes in the Analysis Editor and then click Done editing.
Duplicate a Visier analysis
Note: Making changes in a copy of a Visier analysis ensures that you'll continue to receive future updates provided by Visier experts.
- Do one of the following:
Option Do this In the Analyses room In a project, on the navigation bar, click Model > Analyses.
- Select the Visier analysis you want to copy.
Tip: To show only Visier analyses, click the Filter button on the Version Info column and select Blueprint.
- Click Duplicate in the upper-right corner.
When previewing your solution - On the navigation bar, click Preview Solution.
Result: The preview opens in a new tab.
In the solution preview, go to the Guidebooks room and open the Visier analysis you want to copy.
In the upper-right corner of the analysis, click the More button > Copy to Analyses to create a copy of the analyses in your project.
Close the solution preview.

- In the Analyses room, select the copy of the Visier analysis from the list.

Click Edit Analysis in the upper-right corner of the Analyses room.

Make your changes in the Analysis Editor and then click Done editing.
Replace a Visier analysis in a Guidebook

In a project, on the navigation bar, click Model > Analyses.
- Select the replacement analysis and tag it to the Guidebook topic that you want it to appear in. For more information, see Add Topics to an Analysis.
- Create a content package to hide the Visier analysis from users:
Note: You may already have a content package that controls what analyses are displayed to users. Edit that content package instead of creating a new one. For more information, see Step 4.
In a project, on the navigation bar, click Security > Permissions.
Select a permission and click the Content Packages tab.
Note: Content packages are shared between permissions.
- Create a new content package by duplicating the default content package for the Guidebook where the Visier analysis appears. Hover over the content package you want to duplicate and click the Duplicate button .
Tip:
- Look for the content packages named All Content. For example, Organization - All Content.
- Edit the new content package by doing the following:
Hover over the content package you want to edit and click the Edit button .
- In the Edit Content Package dialog, click the Analyses tab.
- Select the analyses that users can see in the solution:
Note: The Blueprint list contains the Visier analyses and the Customized list contains the analyses that you have created.
- Under Blueprint, hide the Visier analysis.
- Under Customized, ensure the replacement analysis is set to Visible.
- When finished click Close.
- Go through all user permissions, remove the default content package for the Guidebook where the Visier analysis appears and replace it with the content package you created.
