Access requirements
To use APIs, you must have a Visier account and authenticate. For more information about authenticating, see API Authentication.
Custom profile with these capabilities: Pilot Features Management
Reach out to your administrator for access.
Overview
In Visier, you can enable pilot features to give yourself early access to new functionality before General Availability. You can then make features available tenant-wide for further testing. Feature availability also depends on each user's security profile and capabilities. For more information, see Pilot Features.
With this API, you can:
- Retrieve a list of pilot features available for the tenant, along with their configurations
- Retrieve the tenant-level configurations to determine which pilot features are available and enabled in the tenant
- Partially update tenant-level configurations for pilot features
- Retrieve the user-level configurations to determine which pilot features you have access to in the tenant
- Partially update user-level configurations for pilot features
Administrating tenants can specify the tenant using TargetTenantID. The TargetTenantID request header defines the tenant that you're logged into. If defined, the API call executes from the specified tenant. If omitted, the default is the administrating tenant.
Note:
- For analytic tenants,
tenantLevelEnabledreflects the tenant's own setting whentenantLevelOverriddenistrue. Otherwise, it reflects the administrating tenant's default. - When enabling tenant-wide access at the administrating level, you must also specify whether the feature is available to analytic tenants and define its default state using the
analyticTenantAccessparameter. - User-level configurations are set at the administrating tenant level and apply across all analytic tenants.
