Consolidated Analytics

Learn about consolidated analytics in Visier.

Overview

Administrating tenants can aggregate data from multiple analytic tenants in a single "consolidated analytics" (CA) tenant. You can use a CA tenant to analyze the health and performance of your customers (analytic tenants), get customer insights and operational analytics across customers, and identify risks or opportunities.

A consolidated analytics tenant code must have a prefix of CA. For example, WFF_j1r~CAa7s.

Each CA tenant has a list of source tenants and excluded sources.

  • Source tenants: The tenants whose data is aggregated in the CA tenant.
  • Excluded sources: The sources whose data is excluded from the CA tenant.

Example: Let's say you want to consolidate all the employee data for your retail customers for easier analysis. In a consolidated analytics tenant, you can assign all your retail tenants as source tenants and exclude any non-employee sources. In the CA tenant, Visier processes the data for the source tenants to generate a data version. Then, you can analyze and generate insight based on all your retail customers at once.

You can use Visier APIs to create, update, and delete your CA tenants. For more information, see Consolidated Analytics API.

Prerequisites: To create, manage, and delete CA tenants in Visier, your user must have a profile with Tenant Management: Write, API access and the Consolidated Analytics additional capability. For more information, see Additional Capabilities.
