Overview
Data export connectors use Data Exports to send Visier data directly to an external system, such as Databricks or Snowflake. You can push data from Visier to your preferred central data store on demand or on an automated schedule.
To create data export connectors, see Set Up Data Export Connectors.
Note: This feature is also available through Visier's public APIs. For more information, see Data Export Connectors API.
How data security works with data export connectors
Data export connectors use the data permissions of the user who ran or scheduled the data export connector job. The exported dataset contains all the data that the scheduling user is allowed to see in Visier. After the data transfers, the target system applies its own security mode. Configure the appropriate access controls in your target system to restrict data visibility. Editing or deleting a Data Export that is linked to a data export connector can impact the schema or data written to the destination.
